(CNN) -- An explosion tore through a walkway at a train station in Myanmar's capital, Yangon, causing no casualties, according to initial reports from officials in the Southeast Asian nation.

The station reopened, except for the walkway, after the blast, which struck in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday.

Officials wound not comment on whether terrorism was to blame.

The government plans to release a statement on the incident later in the day.
