Billy Graham hospitalized after fall
(CNN) -- Evangelist Billy Graham is in stable condition at Mission Hospitals in Asheville, North Carolina, a hospital spokeswoman said Saturday.
The spokeswoman was unable to release further information, but a statement on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Web site said the 85-year-old Graham was hospitalized after a fall Friday at his home in Montreat, 15 miles east of Asheville in western North Carolina.
The statement said Graham had been at home recovering from a partial hip replacement performed January 6 at St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
Graham's doctor said that preliminary tests indicated a possible hairline fracture to the pelvis and that further tests would be conducted.
