Juventus loan Olivera to Atletico

MILAN, Italy (Reuters) -- Italian champions Juventus have loaned Uruguayan midfielder Ruben Olivera to Spanish club Atletico Madrid until the end of the season.

Juve said in a statement that the player would play with Atletico until June 30.

The 20-year-old joined Juventus in August 2002 from Uruguayan club Danubio but has made only a handful of appearances for the Turin team.

Atletico are currently fourth in Spain's Primera Liga.
