PSV joint first after emphatic win
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (Reuters) -- PSV Eindhoven thrashed bottom team Zwolle 5-1 to join Ajax at the top after the Amsterdam side's game at Heerenveen was snowed off.
PSV were 3-0 up after 25 minutes as Jurgen Colin, John de Jong and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink all found the target.
Andre de Ridder pulled one back but a second for Vennegoor and one for youngster Johan Volanthen in the last 15 minutes completed the easy win.
Feyenoord, who fought back from 2-0 down to beat Utrecht 3-2 on Sunday, trailed again on Wednesday as NEC's new signing Andrzej Niedzielan scored midway through the first half.
Dirk Kuijt equalised two minutes after halftime and Thomas Buffel secured Feyenoord's third away win this season 10 minutes later.
AZ Alkmaar dropped to fourth on 33 points after a goalless draw against Willem II Tilburg - the same result in Twente Enschede's meeting with Vitesse Arnhem.
RKC Waalwijk were also scoreless at halftime at Volendam but produced four goals after the break -- Yuri Cornelisse, Said Boutahar, Robert Fuchs and Iwan Redan the scorers.
RBC Roosendaal won 1-0 at Utrecht with a late goal from full back Robert Molenaar.
