PARIS, France -- Cup holders AJ Auxerre and league champions Olympique Lyon reached the French Cup second round on Saturday with comfortable 2-0 and 5-0 wins over Montpellier and Bourg-Peronnas.

Bonaventure Kalou opened the scoring for Auxerre against fellow top-flight Montpellier after only 12 minutes, dribbling past goalkeeper Jody Viviani in the penalty area.

Djibril Cisse made it two 10 minutes later when he headed home a fine cross from Olivier Kapo.

Lyon, who where supposed to play away but lent their Gerland stadium to third division neighbors Bourg-Peronnas, also scored early when Sydney Govou darted into the area and shot from close range in the 26th minute.

Brazilian midfielder Juninho scored Lyon's second 12 minutes into the second half and Bourg-Peronnas's Gregory Lopez made it 3-0 with an own goal in the 72th.

Govou scored his second in the 84th and Florent Malouda moved the score to a crushing 5-0 one minute later.

Two top-flight teams were ousted by lower division sides.

RC Lens, who have lost six regular players to the African Nations Cup, were humbled 2-1 by third division Dijon.

Amateur club Bayonne, who had already shocked Ligue 1 team En Avant Guingamp 5-3 on penalties in the first round, caused another upset on Friday by ousting Girondins Bordeaux 1-0 after extra time.
