Marseille loan Brazilian defender
PARIS, France (Reuters) -- Bastia have agreed to loan Brazilian defender Demetrius Ferreira to Olympique Marseille until the end of the season, the Corsican Ligue 1 club said.
Marseille, who are sixth in the Ligue 1 standings, were keen to sign Ferreira as cover for Sebastien Perez, who is sidelined for several weeks with a leg injury.
The 30-year-old Ferreira joined French club Nancy in 1998 and moved to Bastia two years later. He has played 96 league games for Bastia.
