Ancona adds Dino Baggio to squad
MILAN, Italy (Reuters) -- Former Parma and Italy midfielder Dino Baggio has joined Serie A's bottom club Ancona on loan until the end of the season.
Baggio, 32, was on a season's loan from Lazio to English club Blackburn Rovers but has returned to Italy after failing to establish himself with the Premier League strugglers.
The midfielder, who also played at Inter Milan and Juventus, after making his name with Torino, is Ancona's fourth big signing during the January transfer window.
Former Roma defender Luigi Sartor, Brazilian striker Mario Jardel and another ex-Blackburn Italian Corrado Grabbi have already signed for the club.
Ancona said on their official Web site that Baggio would hold a news conference on Tuesday before teaming up with his new squad for training.
