Savelgic joins France's Guingamp
GUINGAMP, France -- Serbian and Montenegrin defender Nisa Savelgic has joined French first division side Guingamp after quitting rivals Bastia.
The 35-year-old, capped 33 times by Yugoslavia, has played in France since joining Bordeaux, where he won the league title in 1999.
Savelgic played just six months for Corsican side Bastia before ending his contract, which was due to run until 2005.
He is set to make his Guingamp debut against Bordeaux on Saturday.
