Luciano back at Chievo from Inter
ROME, Italy (Reuters) -- Inter Milan winger Luciano returned to his former club Chievo on Monday.
Inter signed the 28-year-old Brazilian on loan last July but have declined an option to buy him, the Milan club said on their official Web site.
Luciano was brought in by former Inter coach Hector Cuper to add pace and provide crosses for striker Christian Vieri but under Cuper's successor Alberto Zaccheroni he has struggled for a place in the team.
He will receive a warm welcome back at Chievo, for whom he made a big impact in their first season in Serie A in 2001-02.
Luciano hit the headlines the following year when it was revealed he had lied about his age and assumed the name Eriberto to win his first professional contract with Brazilian side Palmeiras.
