Ganea poised to make Wolves debut
WOLVERHAMPTON, England -- English Premiership strugglers Wolves are ready to give new Romania loan striker Viorel Ganea his debut in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The 30-year-old has received a work permit and international clearance to make him eligible for the tie at Third Division Kidderminster.
Ganea said : " I am very happy to be here with the chance to play in the Premier League."
With Wolves looking for the boost of a run in the FA Cup Ganea could be pressed into service at Aggborough in the local derby.
Ganea has scored 19 goals in 40 appearances for Romania and played alongside Chelsea's Adrian Mutu.
He first came to attention at Bundesliga side Vfb Stuttgart, scoring 34 goals in 106 appearances before moving to Turkish League Bursaspor last summer.
