Scotland lifted by Mather's return
EDINBURGH, Scotland (Reuters) -- Scotland flanker Cameron Mather returns after injury for the Six Nations clash against championship leaders France in Edinburgh on March 21.
Mather injured his ankle in last month's defeat to England and missed Scotland's 20-14 loss to Italy in Rome last Saturday.
But Scotland, who have yet to win a game in the tournament, are still without loosehead prop Tom Smith, who also picked up an injury against England.
The Northampton Saints player is again replaced by Edinburgh's Allan Jacobsen in the 26-man squad.
Also included in the squad are uncapped backs Sean Lamont and Gareth Morton, who joined club side The Borders from rugby league's Leeds Rhinos.
Squad:
Backs: Mike Blair, Chris Cusiter, Simon Danielli, Andy Henderson, Ben Hinshelwood, Sean Lamont, Brendan Laney, Derrick Lee, Gareth Morton, Dan Parks, Chris Paterson (captain), Tom Philip, Simon Webster.
Forwards: Gordon Bulloch, Bruce Douglas, Stuart Grimes, Nathan Hines, Allister Hogg, Allan Jacobsen, Gavin Kerr, Cameron Mather, Scott Murray, Jon Petrie, Rob Russell, Simon Taylor, Jason White.
