England to send strong squad to NZ
AUCKLAND, New Zealand -- England coach Clive Woodward has promised the world champions will send a full-strength squad to face New Zealand in June.
"All the players and the public in New Zealand want to see the strongest possible team touring and that's what they'll get," Woodward said at a State of the Game conference in Auckland.
"A few years ago we came down here with what was not a full strength squad and we got what we deserved and got thrashed."
New All Blacks coach Graham Henry said he looked forward to taking on the world champions.
"What a way for me to start as All Blacks coach," said Henry, who replaced John Mitchell last month.
The first test is in Dunedin on June 12.
