Ntini has the West Indies reeling
CENTURION, South Africa (Reuters) -- Makhaya Ntini claimed his seventh five-wicket haul as South Africa closed in on an innings victory over the West Indies on the third day of the fourth test at Centurion.
The West Indies, who followed on 303 runs behind, were 44 for two in their second innings when bad light ended play seven overs early.
South Africa declared at 604 for six then bowled out West Indies out for 301, opener Chris Gayle top-scoring with 77.
Ntini took five for 49 in West Indies' first innings, and then ended the day with one for 14 in the second. He also struck Gayle with a sharply rising delivery, forcing the lefthander to retire hurt early in the visitors' second innings.
South African paceman Andre Nel had a remarkable weekend, getting married on Saturday evening an hour after the close of the second day and starting his honeymoon by dismissing Brian Lara twice on the third.
Hee had Lara caught behind for 34 in the first innings and then trapped him leg before for six when West Indies were forced to follow on.
Nel, 26, said: "Getting married is a special feeling, a bit like getting your first five wickets in an innings. But getting Brian Lara out twice in a day is also a special feeling."
