Chamonix World Cup race postponed
CHAMONIX, France (Reuters) -- The twice-postponed men's World Cup downhill in Chamonix will now take place on January 16 in Wengen, Switzerland, the International Ski Federation (FIS) said.
Friday's race was postponed due to overnight rain at the French resort. It had already been postponed once from December 27.
Training for Saturday's women's World Cup downhill in Veysonnaz, Switzerland, was cancelled on Friday for the second time in three days due to heavy overnight snowfalls.
