Producer sues O'Reilly for sexual harassment; he sues for extortion

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly is being sued by an associate producer for his talk show, accusing him of sexual harassment.
Hours earlier, O'Reilly and Fox filed a lawsuit accusing the employee and her attorneys of extortion.
Andrea Mackris, an associate producer for "The O'Reilly Factor," filed suit Wednesday against her boss and Fox News.
In her suit, Mackris alleges that on a number of occasions, O'Reilly talked in detail about his sexual fantasies and exploits.
At a news conference, Mackris' attorneys alleged O'Reilly's inappropriate comments were made in person, over dinners and over the phone.
Mackris' suit contains lengthy quotes, allegedly from O'Reilly. O'Reilly's attorney said he does not believe that anything alleged in the suit rises to the level of illegal activity.
Mackris' attorney would not comment on Fox's claim he demanded $60 million in hush money, but he did say that negotiations did take place and O'Reilly's claims of extortion are without merit, and that O'Reilly's behavior will be proven in court.
Mackris has worked for Fox 2000 until January 2004, when she took a producer's position at CNN.
She returned to work for O'Reilly at Fox in July of 2004, according to her lawsuit, after winning assurances that O'Reilly would no longer engage in inappropriate conduct.
