Before reaching a verdict, the jury asked and was granted permission to see the bed where Jeffrey Wright was stabbed. Court workers carried the bed into the courtroom earlier Wednesday.

Susan Wright portrayed herself in testimony as the victim of a hateful, sadistic relationship spanning many years.

But prosecutors said Wright killed her husband to collect insurance money and buried his body in the back yard of their Texas home.

CNN affiliate station KHOU in Houston reported the jury may begin sentencing deliberations later Wednesday. The most severe penalty they could impose would be life in prison.
