From the outside, it looks like a bland warehouse in the Kuwaiti desert. Inside, it has been transformed into a high-tech command post, the nerve center from where U.S. generals ran the ground war in Iraq. It is called the Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC) Headquarters. Inside is its "War Room". CNN was given exclusive access to the War Room and the generals who ran it during the War in Iraq. Watch the war unfold through their eyes. Learn what surprised them and how they reacted. Hear for the first time about an Iraqi "decapitation" strike that narrowly missed the War Room. Gain new insights into how 21st century war is fought through an exclusive look inside the War Room, the command-and-control center for the coalition ground war in Iraq.
