Sources: Israeli forces kill 4 armed Palestinians
JERUSALEM (CNN) -- Conducting raids in the West Bank city of Nablus, Israeli forces early Thursday killed four armed Palestinians, Israeli military and Palestinian sources said.
One man was shot and killed when he ran toward the troops holding an explosive device, Israeli sources said.
In a separate incident, three Palestinian gunmen who fired at Israeli forces from a rooftop were killed in the ensuing gunbattle.
The governor of Nablus confirmed the deaths of four Palestinians by Israeli forces, including a 26-year-old bakery worker, who he said was shot on his way to work by the soldiers.
