DOHA, Qatar (CNN) -- U.S. Central Command has released the names of 55 members of the deposed Iraqi regime most wanted by U.S.-led forces, in order of importance.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The following acronyms are: SSO for Special Security Organization; SRG for Special Republican Guard; RG for Republican Guard; RGFC for Republican Guard Forces Command; RCC for Revolutionary Command Council; DGS for Directorate of General Security; IIS for Iraqi Intelligence Service; OMI for Organization of Military Industrialization, and DMI for Directorate of Military Intelligence.

1. Saddam Hussein -- President of Iraq, commander in chief

2. Qusay Hussein -- SSO, SRG and RGFC commander

3. Uday Hussein -- Saddam Fedayeen commander

4. Abid Hamid Mahmud Al Tikriti -- Presidential secretary (weapons of mass destruction release authority)

5. Al Hasan Majeed -- Presidential adviser, former south regional commander

6. Izzat Ibrahim al Duri -- Vice chairman of the RCC, north regional commander

7. Hani Abd Latif Tilfa al Tikriti -- SSO director

8. Kamal Mustafa Abdallah Sultan Tikriti -- RG secretary
