SPECIAL REPORT

JAKARTA, Indonesia (CNN) -- Indonesian police have arrested two more suspects in the Bali bombing that killed almost 200 people in October last year.

The men, Ali Imron and Mubarak, were arrested in the East Kalimantan province as they attempted to flee the country, police said Tuesday.

Both suspects are believed to have played key roles in the bombing.

Ali Imron is the brother of two other Bali suspects currently in custody: Ali Ghufron aka Mukhlas, one of the main plotters behind the attack; and Amrozi, the man accused of buying the explosive materials.

Police believe Ali Imron was responsible for driving the van that housed a deadly car bomb that caused most of the fatalities in the October 12 blasts at a popular night spot area in Bali's Kuta district.

According to police, Mubarak was responsible for helping to finance the bombing, though officials have not detailed how the financing was carried out.

The new arrests bring the total number of Bali bombing suspects to 17.

Police say they are still searching for 11 other possible suspects with connections to the bombing.

Prosecutors are now reviewing possible trial dates for the first Bali suspects.

Police say they are hoping to hold the first trial in Bali mid-February.
