LONDON, England -- Bolton manager Sam Allardyce and captain Jay-Jay Okocha have been named the English Premiership's manager and player of the month for November.
Bolton earned 10 points from a possible 12 during November, including away wins against Tottenham and Leeds.
Nigerian international Okocha failed to score during that period but was instrumental in helping the club to 10th in the Premiership at the end of the month.
Allardyce has said he will refuse any bids for Okocha during the January transfer window, despite a host of clubs being alerted by the former PSG midfielder's eye-catching form this season.
