Besiktas home tie moved to Germany
Chelsea's Champions League match against Turkish club Besiktas next Tuesday has been switched by UEFA to Gelsenkirchen in Germany because of security concerns.
European football's governing body had already ruled that the tie must be moved from Istanbul following the bomb attacks in the city last month that killed more than 60 people.
Besiktas were furious at the decision and have formally asked the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to annul the move.
UEFA said that its decision to play the match in Germany was subject to the CAS ruling which is scheduled to be announced on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the UEFA Cup second round match between Maccabi Haifa and Spain's Valencia, which was to be played in Turkey because of the security situation in Israel, has been switched to Rotterdam, Netherlands, on December 11
