Schluenz takes control at Rostock
ROSTOCK, Germany -- Juri Schluenz has taken over as coach of Bundesliga strugglers Hansa Rostock on a two-year contract. He takes over from Armin Veh, who resigned on Monday after a fourth consecutive defeat and just one win in eight games. Former Rostock player Schluenz, 42, was Veh's assistant and has twice coached the northerners on a caretaker basis. Veh became the second Bundesliga coach to lose his job this season after Borussia Moenchengladbach's Ewald Lienen, who was sacked last month. Rostock, the only club in the Bundesliga from what was once East Germany, lie fifth from bottom in the table of 18 teams.
