Injured Ljungberg out for Sweden

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Injured Arsenal midfielder Fredrik Ljungberg will miss Sweden's final Euro 2004 qualifier against Latvia on October 11.

Ljungberg picked up an ankle injury in Arsenal's clash with Newcastle on Friday and didn't travel to Russia for the English side's Champions League clash with Lokomotiv Moscow on Wednesday.

Sweden have already qualified for next year's finals in Portugal as Group Four winners. Latvia are in second place, one point ahead of Hungary.

Swedish squad: Magnus Hedman, Andreas Isaksson, Christoffer Andersson, Mikael Dorsin, Erik Edman, Andreas Jakobsson, Teddy Lucic, Olof Mellberg, Michael Svensson, Anders Andersson, Andreas Johansson, Kim Kallstrom, Tobias Linderoth, Mikael Nilsson, Anders Svensson, Marcus Allback, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mattias Jonson, Niklas Skoog.
