Story Tools

LONDON, England -- Hooker Mark Regan is the latest withdrawal from the England rugby team to face the New Zealand Barbarians on Saturday at Twickenham.

Regan, who was due to deputize for World Cup winner Steve Thompson, has a foot injury and is replaced by Sale's Andy Titterrell.

Andy Long of Rotherham replaces Titterrell on the bench.

England will feature just five of their World Cup-winning side -- Jason Robinson, Ben Cohen, Richard Hill and Trevor Woodman -- for their first match since beating Australia in the last month's final in Sydney.

Revised team: Jason Robinson; James Simpson-Daniel, Ollie Smith, Stuart Abbott, Ben Cohen; Paul Grayson, Andy Gomarsall; Joe Worsley, Richard Hill, Martin Corry; Simon Shaw, Danny Grewcock; Matt Stevens, Andy Titterrell, Trevor Woodman.

Replacements: Andy Long, Andrew Sheridan, Hugh Vyvyan, Pat Sanderson, Kyran Bracken, Ben Gollings, Mike Tindall.
