Capucho grabs late Rangers winner
KILMARNOCK, Scotland (Reuters) -- Rangers cut Celtic's lead in the Scottish Premier League to five points with a battling 3-2 victory at Kilmarnock. Alex McLeish's side, whose Champions League hopes took a big knock in their defeat by Manchester United on Tuesday, trailed 2-1 with half an hour left.
But Georgian striker Shota Arveladze, with his second of the match, made the score 2-2 after 63 minutes and Portuguese forward Nuno Capucho grabbed an 87th-minute winner for the Scottish champions.
Unbeaten Celtic demolished Dunfermline 5-0 at Celtic Park on Saturday, their 11th win from 12 league games so far. They have 34 points to Rangers' 29.
