LONDON, England -- Hollywood stars Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock braved the wintery British weather to attend the premiere of their new movie.

Despite the plunging temperatures and snow flurries, the atmosphere was anything but icy as the pair arrived together for Thursday's screening of their romantic comedy, "Two Weeks Notice."

The couple, who are rumoured to be more than just work colleagues, flirted and joked their way through the evening.

At one point Bullock even reached out playfully to pinch her co-star's rear as they posed on the red carpet.

An estimated 2,000 fans endured the freezing conditions outside the cinema in London's Leicester Square and were rewarded with a walk-about by the two stars.

British actor Grant, 42, said he would love to make another film with Bullock.

He said: "I would love to work with Sandy again but, alas, I don't think she feels the same."

The star of Four Weddings and a Funeral and Notting Hill added: "I have never had so much fun making a film before.

"I never have fun at work so it was a strange experience for me."

The pair have managed to keep everyone guessing about whether their on-screen affair has blossomed into a real-life romance.

Asked about the rumours of a romance between the pair, Bullock, 38, quipped: "That's probably as true a rumour as has been written."

In "Two Weeks Notice" Bullock plays a neurotic environmental lawyer who is hired by Grant's Billionaire property tycoon.

The film received mixed reviews in North America, where it has taken more than $85 million (£51 million) at the box office.

The Los Angeles Times said it had captured the "wit, charm and sophistication of classic Hollywood romantic comedies," while the Washington Post called it "numbingly unfunny."
