Golden Globe Awards 2003
(InStyle) -- The event: The 60th annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony, in Beverly Hills, with honors bestowed for the best in film and television by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
But the fun didn't stop there. Stars hit the town afterward for a heady night of post-awards celebrations.
GLOBE-TROTTING
In addition to the Globes party held at the Beverly Hilton, most major studios hosted private soirees.
Miramax's party saw the likes of Cameron Diaz, Daniel Day-Lewis and Martin Scorsese; Hugh Grant and Julianne Moore made the scene at the Focus Features party. In Style's party drew Debra Messing, Kirsten Dunst, Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal, Angie Harmon, Eric McCormack and Heidi Klum.
RED-CARPET COMMENTARY
Best actress winner Nicole Kidman, honored for her role in "The Hours," claimed she was "a bit overwhelmed," as she arrived at the ceremony.
Cate Blanchett, to sum up the evening, said, "Sitting and drinking a lovely glass of champagne is nice."
