Branson's Virgin Love for Courtney
LONDON, England -- Courtney Love is set to travel back to the U.S. on the same airline she allegedly had a tantrum on after a personal invite from the owner. Sir Richard Branson, owner of Virgin airlines, said the singer would be welcome to fly on his planes despite police being called in by the pilot during the trip from the U.S. to London after complaints by an air hostess. Branson said Love had apologised during a chat over cocktails and canapes at an Old Vic theatre bash the singer had been appearing at this week. The music tycoon said he appreciated the apology and that she was welcome to fly with his airline again. "Virgin Atlantic was built thanks to the rock industry and I like to think we are a bit more understanding than most airlines," he said in a statement. "Courtney was a little out of order on the flight over and apologised to me. We are looking forward to flying her back to LA." Love said: "We've sorted it all out now." The widow of rock idol Kurt Cobain, was arrested after she was accused of abusive behaviour during her Virgin flight to the UK on Monday. (Full Story) After her release with a police caution, she said: "I cussed at a lady -- my daughter always said I had a potty mouth. "I cussed at a lady named Mary, she wasn't letting my friend into first class and I said, 'Why are you being such a bitch about it?'" Under British law, a caution is a formal acknowledgement that a person has committed an offence and acts as a warning regarding future behaviour. It does not count as a conviction, but may be brought up in future court proceedings. Love is alleged to have refused to sit down during her flight after cabin crew refused to allow a travelling companion from economy to sit with her in first class. She said she also discussed with Branson "real estate" during their chat. Love is planning to move to London for a while to do some work on a new album, although she is currently without a record deal, and she wanted some property advice. Love chatted to Bill Clinton's daughter Chelsea who had been a guest at the concert, for which tickets cost up to £1,000. The show was organised by Hollywood star Kevin Spacey and Sir Elton John to raise cash for the Old Vic Theatre, where the event took place. Love duetted with Sir Elton on his hit "The Bitch Is Back" and also performed another of his songs, "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me," dressed in pink satin knickers.
