(CNN) -- CNN and Rock the Vote will co-host a 90-minute forum for Democratic presidential candidates November 4 in Boston, Massachusetts, the network announced Wednesday. Invitations have been sent to all 10 Democratic candidates.
Boston will also be the site of the Democratic convention in July.
Next month's event, moderated by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, will have a town hall format with candidates answering live questions from the audience. Questions can also be submitted via wireless devices and the Internet.
Rock the Vote is a non-profit organization that tries to bring younger voters into the political process. Its past presidential campaign events have provided some unconventional moments, as in 1992, when then-candidate Bill Clinton told an MTV audience he prefers boxer shorts to briefs.
The November 4 forum will be broadcast on CNN from 7 to 8:30 p.m. (ET), and simulcast on CNN Radio.
