(IDG) -- Nintendo of America has revealed its complete GameCube and Game Boy Advance release list for 2002 and early 2003 at its pre-E3 press conference. Besides the previously anticipated Super Mario Sunshine and Legend of Zelda, Nintendo had a surprising amount of new and unheard-of games and accessories.

Super Mario Sunshine, Mario's latest epic adventure, is still coming out August 26 as planned; the GameCube Zelda has been pushed back to February 2003 in a move that should surprise very few gamers (Zelda titles have a tendency to get delayed at least once or twice). Star Fox Adventures is coming September 30, and Wario World, a new GameCube platformer starring the cute little master of Mario's nightmares, is due out November 11.

The big surprise came in Nintendo's GBA lineup, featuring brand-new games in nearly every portable series Nintendo has going. Donkey Kong, Game & Watch Gallery, Golden Sun, Zelda, Kirby, Metroid, Pokémon, and Super Mario Advance are all getting new GBA titles, giving Nintendo a 2002 portable lineup that's well near unstoppable in both quality and quantity.

The company has been promising GameCube games that connect directly to the GBA for the past year. They finally kept their promise with the official announcements of Animal Crossing and Roll-o-Rama, two games that'll support the GC-GBA connector. Animal Crossing, a sort of "communication game" where you explore villages full of strange inhabitants and amusing things to do, will let you download NES cartridges found ingame and play them on your GBA any time you like. The game's also compatible with Nintendo's new e-Reader, a card swiping device that unlocks new mini-games and other gameplay elements. Details are still a little skimpy on Roll-o-Rama, but Nintendo said the title will use motion-sensing technology allowing the GBA to act as a controller for the GameCube.
