(InStyle) -- The events: The 54th annual Emmy Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the Governor's Ball and the after-parties thrown by 20th Century Fox, "Entertainment Tonight" and HBO, among others.

Hollywood's A-list turned out in full force to celebrate the little gold angel: Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt. Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey, Debra Messing, Matthew Perry, the Osbournes, Peter Krause, Jennifer Garner, host Conan O'Brien, Sean Hayes and many, many more.

Following the three-hour show, 3,000 guests dined on lobster salad, rack of lamb and 1,000 bottles of Geyser Peak wine at the Governor's Ball.

Mortons was the site of the 20th Century Fox fête, where guests munched on steak, mashed potatoes and chocolate-covered strawberries.

HBO rolled out the gold carpet to toast its status as most-nominated network in a velvet-draped tent at Spago in Beverly Hills.

Guests such as Rita Wilson, Kim Cattrall, Steven Spielberg and Carson Daly noshed on veal, chicken with spinach and Wolfgang Puck's signature pizza.

Entertainment Tonight celebrated at the Mondrian Hotel with food by Asia de Cuba. Guests like Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce reveled at the poolside party, which served up pineapple martinis.

"I'd say tonight was perfect," said "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul. "I feel like all the right people won so I'm happy." Fashion guru Molly Sims added: "I thought Jennifer Aniston looked amazing, and I like a bit of glamour so I would rate the night a nine."

Emmy winner Kelly Osbourne sported a new do just for the occasion. "I've been waiting for a special enough event to wear this," said the youngest Osbourne. "And I like my curls. I think they add a little bit of glamour."
