(CNN) -- Spring is here and with it comes bikini season. The problem: Many Americans never stayed true to their New Year's resolutions to start exercising. According to fitness experts, most women have the components of diet and aerobic conditioning down to a science but ignore one major element: strength training. Some women are bombarded with exercise myths. But experts advise: Throw out those confusing tales and seek a trained fitness professional to help set realistic and attainable fitness goals.
