Madonna tickets offered for sex

Tickets for Madonna's German concerts sold out in record time

BERLIN, Germany -- An on-line magazine has advertised tickets for a sold-out Madonna concert in exchange for sex with one of its reporters.

The web site, www.thema1.de, which was launched in January, said 22 readers had already applied for a chance to win the ticket to attend the Berlin concert with Bernd Heusinger, head publisher of the magazine, Reuters reported.

Heusinger said 12 male readers had applied to have sex with a female columnist named Shelley Masters.

The applications included nude photographs, Reuters said.

Six female readers had sent in applications to sleep with one of three men on the publication's staff.

Four homosexual readers had sent in bids to have sex with a homosexual staff member.

Heusinger insisted there was nothing illegal about the proposal and readers were voluntarily taking part. They expect to pick the winning entry on Monday, he said.

"There's nothing illegal about it. These are all volunteers. It's not an indecent proposal even though it may be considered reprehensible," Heusinger told Reuters.

"Prostitution is not illegal in Germany," he added.

Madonna's Berlin concert tickets sold out within minutes of going on sale in April and went for record prices of up to $110 each.
