'Star Trek' origami: Out of this worldHONG KONG, China (CNN) -- The ancient Asian art of origami has met the futuristic world of science fiction, thanks to the nimble fingers of artist and author Andrew Pang.
Pang's book "Paper Universe" shows how to fold paper into objects that resemble space ships from the imaginary world of "Star Trek" -- including the USS Enterprise and the spacecraft from the spinoff TV show "Star Trek: Voyager." "My wife always laughed at me about this," Pang said while demonstrating his craft for CNN International. "She just thinks it's just so ridiculous." Perhaps.
