Napster alternatives continue Internet music sharing
(CNN) -- The music sharing service Napster is scrambling to comply with a court order to block transfers of copyrighted music. Transfer of these files, however, continues through similar services. Since Napster does not actually host any music files, available songs for download are dependent upon how many users are sharing through Napster's software. If users shift away from Napster, the vast digital library of music will follow them to whatever new service they choose. As CNN's Thomas Nybo reports, that shift is already beginning; and there is a large pool of file swapping software ready to reap the benefits of Napster's loss. RELATED SITES:
