Jerry Hall's London home burgled
LONDON, England (CNN) -- Actress Jerry Hall's $7.5 million home in London's Richmond Hill has been burgled.
The 44-year-old Texan model shares Downe House in the west London suburb with her daughters Georgia May and Gabrielle, as well as a maid and a nanny.
The robbers made off with $10,000 worth of goods including jewellery and a laptop computer on Wednesday night.
Detectives have launched an investigation and fingerprint and forensic teams have also scoured the house for clues.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "An investigation is under way but we are respecting the owners privacy and we are not discussing exactly what was stolen, who was in the house or what security arrangements had been taken."
He added that the identity of the stolen objects might be revealed at a later date if earlier bids to recover them failed.
On Wednesday evening, Hall was on stage in London's West End acting out her role as Mrs Robinson in "The Graduate".
Hall received a $10 million settlement as well as the house after she separated from rock star Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones last year.
A divorce court ruled their marriage ceremony on the Indonesian island of Bali in 1991 was not legal.
