ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- Delta Air Lines canceled about 20 percent, or about 100,
of its flights into and out of Hartsfield International Airport Thursday in
anticipation of inclement weather later in the day.
The forecast for the Atlanta area called for a mix of freezing rain or
sleet, possibly changing to snow, by noon. Accumulation was expected to be
minimal.
In addition, Delta said a continued labor action by its pilots was still
having a "significant impact" on operations. The airline claims pilots are
refusing to work overtime, a move it says has already resulted in hundreds of
flights being canceled.
