98 Degrees grateful for 'Just One Night'

NEW YORK (CNN) -- As 98 Degrees burns up the charts with its hit single "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)," the band's not sure what to make of rumors that the song was actually written for Ricky Martin.

All 98 Degrees member Drew Lachey knows is that when producers suggested the song, the band knew it was on to something.

"We just kind of fell in love with the romance of it and the mystery of it, and just the rhythm and everything of it," he said. "So we kind of stole it. If it was for Ricky Martin, thanks for not taking it."
