NEW YORK (CNN) -- A new wave of inductees has crashed into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Among the new class acts: Beach Boy Brian Wilson, Johnny Mathis, James Taylor, Godfather of Soul James Brown, Eagles Don Henley and Glenn Frey, Neil Diamond and the late Curtis Mayfield.
The ceremony took place recently in New York, with tributes by Paul McCartney, Hanson, Carole King, Aaron Neville and Brian McKnight. CNN's Showbiz Today Correspondent Jodi Ross listens in.
