| 'Love Bug' apparently flew out of AsiaHONG KONG (CNN) -- The "Love Bug" zipped around the world on Thursday so fast it had already infected hundreds of millions of computers before any effective means of stopping the virus got under way.
Already, investigators are zeroing in on a man in the Philippines they believe may have designed the tricky bug and sent it spinning out of control. The damage, then, began in Asia, and analysts say systems on that continent are more lax on security than most of their counterparts elsewhere -- and are particularly interconnected to the rest of the world. And that, says CNN's Mike Chinoy, leaves a "worm" hole for such viruses and their copycats to further inflict computer users with global-sized headaches.
